Anthony D'Aries

Anthony D'Aries is Beacon Preservations summer lighthouse keeper, transporting and assisting our lighthouse supporters (assistant keepers!) to Goose Rocks for visits and stays. Anthony is a fiction writer and outdoor enthusiast who, having grown up in the maritime village of Northport, Long Island, loves spending time on the ocean and exploring nature. When not writing the next great American short story on a lighthouse, Anthony is a professor and coordinator of the MFA program in Creative and Professional Writing at Western Connecticut State University.
