Materials:
Beacon has located a large quantity of well-preserved circa 1880 tongue-and-groove heart pine flooring (2.5” thick!) that perfectly matches the original flooring of Goose Rocks, which –other than a small remaining patch of flooring at the front entrance--has since been removed by the USCG. As “authentic restoration” preservationists, we are dedicated to using only original-match or period-appropriate reclaimed materials. This lot of antique flooring is a real find, but we need to raise $3,500 to purchase it soon. Help us acquire this authentic flooring: each 12’ plank costs $25, a donation which just about anyone can afford. Just think, when you visit Goose Rocks, you can actually walk on YOUR plank(s)! PLANKS PURCHASED--AND FLOORING NOW INSTALLED!-- THROUGH YOUR ONLINE DONATIONS!
