Chris German

Captain Chris German is Beacon Preservation's Lighthouse Keeper.  German, is the CEO and founder of Connecticut Community Boating, a not-for-profit community program dedicated to providing low income children with access to boating and Long Island Sound.  They are now working to create a school ship for New England residents as well as restore Connecticut's Light Houses for public access.

German comes to Beacon Preservation's  Maine Office  this summer to learn the ropes as a Lighthouse Keeper in preparation for his efforts to restore  lighthouses along Connecticut's Coast.  He and his salty-dog Buxton look forward to a great summer of accommodating guest-keepers at Goose Rocks Light while overseeing the installation of its new reverse-osmosis system.
